Terms of Use
Updated 2026-07-02
These Terms govern your access to and use of the Black Line Intelligence terminal and website. Black Line Intelligence is an information and education product only. Please read these Terms carefully before using the Service.
01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Black Line Intelligence (the "Service") — including the website at theblacklineintel.com and the application at app.theblacklineintel.com — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors and users, whether on the free tier or a paid plan. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
02What the Service Is
Black Line Intelligence is a real-time prediction-market and smart-money intelligence terminal. It aggregates and displays data from many external sources so you can review it in one place. The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. The Service does not custody funds, execute trades, or place bets on your behalf. It is a read-only view of information; any decision or action you take is your own. Black Line Intelligence is related to The Black Line Society, a separate Discord community and product at theblacklinesociety.com, which is governed by its own terms.
03Not Financial Advice
Nothing in the Service is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. The Service does not recommend any security, token, market, position, or transaction, and does not act as your broker, adviser, or fiduciary. The information, signals, rankings, and analysis shown are general in nature and are not tailored to your circumstances. We make no guarantee as to accuracy, completeness, availability, or any outcome. Past activity and observed patterns do not predict future results. You should consult a qualified, licensed professional before making any financial, investment, legal, or tax decision. No fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Service.
04Third-Party Data
The Service aggregates data from many third-party sources that we do not control, including without limitation: prediction markets such as Polymarket and Kalshi; on-chain blockchain data and Hyperliquid activity; SEC EDGAR Form 4 filings and U.S. Congress financial disclosures; crypto ETF-flow providers; and public news, RSS, and flight/disaster feeds. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. We do not verify, endorse, or guarantee third-party data, and we are not responsible for it. Third-party sources may change, restrict, or discontinue their data at any time, which may affect the Service. Your use of any third-party service or platform is subject to that party's own terms.
05Your Responsibility and Eligibility
You are solely responsible for your own decisions and actions, including any trades, bets, or transactions you choose to make elsewhere. The Service is one input among many; it is not a substitute for your own research and judgment. Prediction markets and cryptocurrency are high-risk and can result in the total loss of your funds. They may be restricted, regulated, or prohibited in some jurisdictions. You are responsible for determining your own eligibility and for complying with all laws that apply to you in your location. Do not use the Service, or act on it, if doing so would violate the laws or regulations that apply to you.
06Accounts and Access
Sign-in and account access are handled through Whop, a third-party provider, using Whop OAuth. When you sign in, we receive a Whop account identifier and your membership/entitlement status. We do not receive or store your Whop password or payment-card details. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Whop account and for all activity under it. Access depends on Whop's availability and on your account remaining in good standing. Members of The Black Line Society receive Pro access to the Service.
07Plans, Billing and Refunds
The Service offers: Free — a no-cost tier; Pro — $39 per month; Lifetime — a one-time "Founding — first 100" plan. All billing, payment, cancellation, and refunds are processed by Whop under Whop's terms. We do not process payments directly. To view, manage, or cancel your plan, or to request a refund, use your Whop account and refer to Whop's policies. Prices and plan availability may change; any change applies on a going-forward basis and, where billing is affected, is administered through Whop.
08Acceptable Use
You agree not to: scrape, crawl, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Service by any automated means; resell, redistribute, or sublicense data or content from the Service; reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source or underlying structure of the Service; interfere with, overload, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; or use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates this section.
09Intellectual Property
The Service — including its software, design, interface, compilations, and original content — is owned by [Operator] and its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. Underlying third-party data remains the property of its respective sources. Names, logos, and brands referenced in the Service belong to their respective owners and do not imply endorsement.
10Privacy and Data
When you sign in through Whop OAuth, we receive a Whop account identifier and your membership/entitlement status. We do not collect or store Whop passwords or payment-card details. We may process basic technical data — such as session, device/browser, and usage/analytics information — to operate, secure, and improve the Service. We use service providers (hosting, authentication, analytics, and payment) that process data under their own terms. We do not sell personal data. Your use of Whop is also governed by Whop's own privacy practices.
11Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or availability. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that any data, signal, or result will be accurate, timely, or reliable. You use the Service at your own risk.
12Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, [Operator] and its owners, operators, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, funds, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any reliance on data or content it displays. This applies whether the claim is based in contract, tort, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.
13Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless [Operator] and its owners, operators, and service providers from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
14Changes to the Service and Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, including features, data sources, and plan availability. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we update these Terms, we will revise the "Updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time, and you may cancel any paid plan through your Whop account. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification — will survive.
16Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction — to be completed], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject to the courts or dispute-resolution process specified there. Governing law, jurisdiction, and the legal entity operating the Service must be completed before these Terms are relied upon.
