This Privacy Policy explains what information Black Line Intelligence (the "Service") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. The Service is a real-time prediction-market and smart-money intelligence terminal operated by [Operator] ("we", "us", "our"). It covers our marketing site at theblacklineintel.com and the application at app.theblacklineintel.com.
Sign-in is through Whop and we receive your Whop account identifier and membership status; we do not store your Whop password or payment-card details (those stay with Whop); we do not sell your personal data; and we do not custody funds, execute trades, or place bets — the Service is information and education only.
01What we collect
When you sign in through Whop's OAuth, we receive a Whop account identifier and your membership and entitlement status (for example, whether you hold a Free, Pro, or Lifetime plan). We use these to recognize you and unlock the right features. To operate the Service, we may also process basic technical and usage data, such as session information, device and browser details, and analytics about how the Service is used. We do not collect or store your Whop password or your payment-card details; those are handled entirely by Whop.
02How we use information
We use information to: authenticate you and keep your session secure; enforce access tiers by showing Free, Pro, or Lifetime features based on your membership status; operate, secure, and improve the Service; and provide support and respond to your requests.
03Legal basis and consent
Where the law requires a legal basis to process your information, we rely on the basis appropriate to the activity — for example, performing our contract with you to provide the Service, our legitimate interest in operating and securing it, and your consent where consent is needed (such as for certain analytics). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.
04Service providers
We use third-party service providers to run the Service, and they process data under their own terms: authentication and billing — Whop; hosting — our infrastructure and application hosting providers; analytics — providers that help us understand and improve usage. These providers process data only to perform services for us, and their handling of your information is governed by their respective privacy terms.
05Third-party data displayed in the Service
The Service aggregates and displays live data from many third-party sources — including Polymarket, Kalshi, on-chain blockchain data, Hyperliquid, SEC EDGAR Form 4 filings, U.S. Congress disclosures, crypto ETF-flow providers, and public news, RSS, flight, and disaster feeds. This data may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate. The Service is provided for information and education only and is not financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. We make no guarantee of accuracy, availability, or outcomes. Please note: you are solely responsible for your own decisions. Prediction markets and crypto are high-risk and may be restricted in some jurisdictions; you must comply with your local laws and are responsible for your own eligibility. We do not enter into any fiduciary relationship with you, and we do not custody funds, execute trades, or place bets.
06Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember your session, and enable core functionality. Analytics may also use similar technologies to measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly without them.
07How we share information
We share information with the service providers described above so they can perform services for us, and where required to comply with the law or protect our rights. We do not sell your personal data.
08Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet our legal and security obligations, and resolve disputes. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
09Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details in the Contact section below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11International users
The Service is operated from, and information may be processed in, jurisdictions that may differ from your own and whose data-protection laws may differ from those where you live. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be processed in those locations.
12Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18 and is not intended for their use. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
13The Black Line Society
The Black Line Society is a separate, related product (a Discord community at theblacklinesociety.com). Black Line Society members receive Pro access to the Service. That community and its website are governed by their own terms, and this policy covers the Black Line Intelligence Service described above.
14Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
